ʿIlm (عِلم — Knowledge)
What Is ʿIlm?
ʿIlm (عِلم) means knowledge. In Islam, it is one of the greatest blessings bestowed upon humanity. Through knowledge, a believer comes to know Allah, understands His guidance, distinguishes between truth and falsehood, and learns how to live a life that is pleasing to Him.
Seeking knowledge is not limited to scholars or students; it is a lifelong responsibility for every Muslim. True knowledge enlightens the mind, purifies the heart, and guides one’s actions.
